Global Ocean Commission

In June of 2014 the Global Ocean Commission (GOC) released its final ocean report entitled, "From Decline to Recovery, A Rescue Package for the Global Ocean." In it, the Commission calls for wide-ranging actions over the next five years to reduce the process from decline to recovery. The comprehensive plan outlines the major drivers of ocean decline and offers eight proposals for ocean recovery.
