Kauai Thoughts

On a recent visit to Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian islands, host Peter Neill had chance encounters with breaching whales offshore and a monk seal on the beach. The experiences prompted this reflection of what it means to be connected to real, meaningful, living things in our natural world.
